The goal of the Language Arts Department is to teach students the four disciplines of reading, writing, speaking, and listening. Our purpose is to inspire effective communicators and to instill a love for literature.

English 3D® is an explicit and interactive  designed by Dr. Kate Kinsella. English 3D enables multilingual learners in grades K–12 to rapidly acquire the language skills necessary for academic success.

• BrainPop: Educational videos and games on a wide variety of topics. Parents need to sign up for a free account

• Common Lit: Free collection of bilingual fiction and nonfiction passages for 3rd-12th grade students. Students can create a free account and filter the collection by grade and genre.

• Duolingo: free app to use to learn a new language
